Terms & Conditions

By booking a stay at Villa Gracia Guest House, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. These terms ensure a pleasant stay for all guests while protecting the rights of both parties.

Bookings & Payment

  • A valid booking is confirmed only upon receipt of payment.

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Full payment is required for bookings made within 48 hours of check-in.

  • Payments can be made online or via other agreed methods.

  • Interest will be charged on all overdue payments.

  • Only registered guests may stay overnight—no unregistered visitors are allowed.

  • Cards are accepted; cash is not accepted.
     

Cancellations & Refunds

  • No refunds for late arrivals or early departures.

  • Cancellations within 14 days of arrival will result in 100% forfeiture of the total amount.

  • Cancellations 21 days before arrival will result in 100% forfeiture of the deposit.

  • Cancellations 30 days before arrival will result in 50% forfeiture of the deposit.
     

Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-in: From 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Later check-ins must be arranged in advance.

  • Check-out: By 10:00 AM. Late check-outs will incur an additional charge.

  • No check-outs are allowed after 12:00 PM.
     

Guest Responsibilities & House Rules

  • Noise policy: A R2000 fine will be charged for noise disturbances between 22:00 – 08:00.

  • Smoking policy: Smoking inside rooms is strictly prohibited. A R1000 fine applies for violations.

  • Damages: Guests are financially responsible for lost keys, remotes (R1000 replacement fee), and any property damage.

  • Laundry services: Available Monday to Friday with a 24-hour turnaround. No laundry services over weekends.
     

 Use of Facilities

  • Guests are expected to use all facilities responsibly and adhere to property rules.

  • The swimming pool is available for guest use at their own risk. Children must be supervised at all times.

  • Only one vehicle per room unless prior arrangements are made.
     

Liability & Disclaimer

Villa Gracia is not responsible for:

  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

  • Injuries sustained on the property unless caused by our negligence.

  • Medical emergencies—however, emergency contact numbers are provided.
     

Child Policy

  • Children of any age are welcome.

  • Children aged 11 years and above will be charged as adults on this property.

  • Cots and extra beds are not available at this property.

  • To see correct prices and occupancy information, please add the number of children in your group and their ages to your search.
     

Pet Policy (if applicable)

  • Small pets are allowed only if arranged in advance.

  • Pets cannot be left unattended in rooms or on the property.

  • Guests must clean up after their pets.

  • Pets are not allowed on beds (white linen is used).

  • Any damage caused by pets is the owner’s financial responsibility.
     

Privacy

Personal information provided during booking will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
 

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
